The color subtleties obtained are unlike any other dying process.  The leaves come alive by outlining them with fabric paint.  Check out the reverse of this scarf for a whole new look.

The Mountain Ash tree in my back yard provided the inspiration for this scarf.  Dyed with the discharge process, the color is lifted from the black rayon/silk velvet. The blue, silver background is a perfect back drop for this printed black leaves that seen to float.  A painted outline on the leaves give it definition. Check out the reverse side for another dimension.
An elegant original! 10" x 70"   

Rich in color, this scarf was dyed with a discharge process.  Color was lifted from the dark burgundy background, then added back into the leaf shapes to reveal a whole different range of color.   Framed by solid burgundy velvet, this scarf is lined with a sheer burgundy polyester which allows you to see the reverse of the dying.  Difficult to explain, easy to appreciate in person.
